    The biggest challenges with this era are that the homes have many small spaces with a lot of doors, and they typically do not engage the outdoors.

    There were four specific elements that drove the design: the utilization of natural light, a more open floor plan, a larger kitchen space, and a backdrop for her artwork.

    With only a minimum amount of renovation, we were able to reconfigure the space to create a comfortable and more contemporary home in which she can both entertain and find sanctuary.
