Carthay Square Spanish Home
The owners of this Spanish-style home in the Carthay Square historic zone of central Los Angeles wanted us to design an outdoor space in their backyard that would be ideal for entertaining. The outdoor kitchen and dining area we designed make entertaining a breeze. A built-in grill, counterspace, a sink and a beverage cooler are all necessary ingredients! Hollywood Craftsman
In this original craftsman home, built in 1910, we created incorporated several creative solutions to the storage and light dilemmas. We also reused and refinished the wood floors and doors from the original home, effectively tying the renovated area into the un-renovated portions of the home. Culver City Residence
SweisKloss was commissioned to design a custom indoor and outdoor renovation to this tract home in Culver City. The client had traditional leanings but wanted it to feel contemporary. Changing the layout of the bathroom, incorporating classic and streamlined furnishings, and adding a wall of windows created a much more open, bright and luxurious space. Brentwood Condo
This contemporary gas fireplace makes a dramatic statement in the living room of this Brentwood condo. The clean lines, combined with the contrast between the white stone and dark panel, are elegant and modern, and create a striking focal point.
